The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given the green light to four more investment projects with a total investment capital of $37.6 million.
According to the council’s press release issued Friday, the projects newly approved are expected to create some 6,338 jobs for the locals.
The four projects cover the establishment of laundry and dyeing factory, shoe and shoe accessory manufacturing factory, garment factory and solar panel assembly factory.
The projects belong to Luentec Textile Solutions, Lecrown Shoes Industry, CFC Garment Pty, and Sunenergy Technology (Cambodia) located in Phnom Penh capital and the provinces of Kampong Speu and Kampong Cham.
Such investment amid COVID-19 outbreak demonstrates confidence of foreign investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability though threatened by the pandemic. Phal Sophanith – AKP
