The maker of Eva Premium Ice is looking for distributors as it expands in Cambodia. Phnom Penh headquartered Chamatharn Co Ltd has spent more than $20 million building a high-tech factory on a 20,000 square metre site at Sangkat Setbou in Kandal province’s Krong Ta Khmau, near Phnom Penh.
“Eva Premium Ice is the beginning of the revolution of the ice industry in Cambodia,” said Chief Executive Officer Supachai Verapuchong. “At the factory, special machines are used to automatically place the ice inside the packaging and there is zero human contact, which is part of our hygiene standards. We check and control the source water and the product water regularly to ensure the quality of the ice. Our ice is safe for children to drink.”
The company says its EVA Premium Ice -25 C is a crystal clear, slow-melting, hygienic product at an affordable price.

Along with the EVA brand, Supachai’s companies sell Lyyon Water, Tiffy paracetamol and other pharmaceutical products. Supachai also owns the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra, and the Phokeethra Country Club in Siem Reap.
EVA Premium ice has two types of products; normal premium ice packed in 3kg, 5kg, 16kg bags and EVA premium ice – 25 C which comes in 1.5kg zip-locked bags.
“EVA Premium Ice -25 C is sold in many modern trade supermarkets such as 7-Eleven, Aeon 1 and 2, Bayon Supermarket, Kiwimart Premium and we are now in the process of putting our ice in the Lucky Super Market, Lucky Express, Chip Mong Sen Sok Mall, Chip Mong 598, and many other modern trade marts around Phnom Penh. Our ice is suplied on time and is delivered in modern refrigerated trucks, thus ensuring a swift, hygienic and safe delivery of the product,” Supachai said.
