Cambodia’s premium internet service provider (ISP), EZECOM, Friday, March 11, 2022, announced an Amazon Web Services (AWS) partnership, providing digital expertise of leading cloud service provider, covering compute, storage, database, security, management and networking.
To commensurate this partnership launch, AWS co-hosted with Ezecom, a panel discussion titled “The Impact of Cloud in Cambodia Banking Institutions”. The topic aims to bring deeper financial industry understanding of benefits and advantages of adopting cloud services for their business growth. The seminar was organized at Sofitel Phokeethra Hotel with the representative from the Minister of Post and Telecomunications, Mr. Sun Rapid, Director General of ICT, Mr William Mark Hanna, Group CFO, Royal Group of Companies and many senior managers from partner companies.

Through partnership with AWS, Ezecom is able to provide pay-as-you-go pricing with no up-front expense. In addition, EZECOM’s experts will provide cloud consulting and advisory services to customers prior to signing up for an AWS package. The EZECOM team will also provide migration, implementation, and ongoing support and management after the service deal is signed. EZECOM’s cloud services will focus on SMEs, large businesses, and organizations in the public sector, banking and finance, media entertainment and manufacturing. EZECOM will provide services to organizations operating in Kandal, Sihanoukville, Siem Reap, Poi Pet, Bavet and Phnom Penh, with plans to expand across Cambodia in the future.
By moving to cloud, Cambodian customers will benefit from the scalability and increased levels of innovation that cloud brings. Cloud services will enable local companies to modernise and compete in a fast-changing global corporate landscape. Instead of waiting weeks or months to provision on-premises infrastructure, companies will be able to seamlessly deploy new applications, instantly scale up services as workloads increase, and also scale down should demand decline.
