The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) has geared up a project to establish Phnom Penh Logistics Centre aiming to lift up transportation sector efficiency and competitiveness.
The draft framework agreement on Phnom Penh Logistics Centre Establishment was discussed in a meeting chaired Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport.
All participating stakeholders shared practical inputs for the framework agreement on the Phnom Penh Logistics Centre to be comprehensive.
Mr Chanthol underlined that the Phnom Penh Logistics Centre is potential in promoting transportation sector’s efficiency and competitiveness with countries in the regions and the globe, especially in terms of costs and services contributing essentially to Cambodia’s economic growth.
The ministry has completed a first-stage feasibility study on the location for the establishment of Phnom Penh Logistics Centre and is considering an area in the west of Phnom Penh International Airport for the centre. Chea Vannak – AKP
