Three new projects with a total capital of $15.1 million have been approved by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
This continues to give confidence to job seekers that though loss of employment because of the pandemic forcing many industries to cut workforce, investments into new industries are continuing to flow into Cambodia, creating some employment relief to the unemployed.
According to the CDC’s press release, the three projects belong to Mountain Forest Product Co., Ltd, Kingmall Industrial (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, and Cambodian Birchever Furniture Co., Ltd.
To be located in Preah Sihanouk province, two of the projects are furniture and decorative material manufacturers, and another is manufacturer of doors, windows and aluminium products.
The three newly approved projects are expected to create some 375 jobs for the locals.
