Phillip Bank Plc, commercial bank in Cambodia, today signed a partnership agreement with EDEEL (Cambodia) Plc to provide a co-branded Virtual Mastercard for Cambodians as part of the bank’s vision to provide a more convenient and secure way of online payment. The signing ceremony was held at Phillip Bank head office with the participation of representatives from both entities.
Through this agreement, all EDEEL customers will be able to request for co-branded Virtual Mastercard of Phillip Bank. The card provides the same functions and services as the bank’s existing Virtual Mastercard but comes with a logo of EDEEL upon the completion of registration on Phillip Mobile.
Attending the signing ceremony, Phillip Bank Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mach Chan said the partnership will mark another milestone for the bank in delivering more digital products and services that cater to the needs of Cambodian customers, mainly EDEEL’s customers, who rely on particular financial products with a seamless experience and for the smoothness of their day-to-day businesses.

“We are looking forward to a great result from this partnership as well as initiating more and more products that would benefit our customers as well as partners,” said Mr. Chan.
EDEEL Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Andrey Krivoshein said EDEEL customers can simply apply for the co-branded Virtual Mastercard through the EDEEL app. Once completed all the information, Phillip Bank staff will contact the customer in creating Phillip Bank account and Virtual Mastercard. In addition, EDEEL customers can also top up their account via Bakong, Cash Deposit Machine, transfer the fund and process other online payment services via the co-branded Virtual Mastercard.
“Edeel has sufficient experience with Virtual card services and we will do our best to provide the best services to our customers,” said Mr. Krivoshein.
