If you are familiar with the gaming world, when you think of Ubisoft you will think of the Tom Clancy series including Rainbow six, Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell. which collectively sold 55 million units worldwide, not to forget the hugely successful Assassins Creed franchise Watch Dogs and Far Cry.
Ubisoft Singapore held a webinar ahead of their hosting of the Gamescom Asia 2021 event to be held between 15 and 17 Oct by Joan Hsu, lead animator at Ubisoft Singapore Walter de Torres, founding partner of Pixel Mafia, an art development studio with a focus on games and movies, and Gwen Guo, chairperson of Singapore Games Association. It explained how to build a career in the gaming industry.
Avid Sony Playstation user, going by the name of Bora, who also owns computer repair shop iRepair Cambodia, in Phnom Penh, said: “I can see a lot of the younger generation getting involved in the gaming scene. If you go to coffee shops like Starbucks or Cafe Amazon you see more and more people using high-end gaming laptops to play games online.
